A Chakra is like a spiral of energy, each one relating to the others. Chakra (pronounced sha-kra) is the Sanskrit word “wheel” and means invisible, spinning energy wheels that represent a person’s energy flow.
Here’s Wikipedia’s definition: “The chakras are thought to vitalize the physical body and to be associated with interactions of a physical, emotional and mental nature. The function of the chakras is to spin and draw in Universal Life Force Energies to keep the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health of the body in balance.”
Should any chakras become blocked, your physical or emotional health may be compromised. In order to get the clearest guidance possible, it can be very beneficial to cleanse blocks from your energy centers, your chakras.
We tend to hold negative energy or vibes in our charkas that can weigh us down.
Clearing them out and getting them to spin at high, bright speeds can improve your energy levels, your emotional set-point and ability to receive clear, concise guidance.
When you clear your chakras, you can develop better intuition, attain greater sensitivity, manifest extraordinary powers, and fulfill your desires. But most of us are not “energetically” cleansed, and our negative thoughts, as well as surroundings (news, violent movies, etc), will bring down your vibrations.
So how do you clean up your chakras and get them spinning energetically? There are many ways to do it, and there is no one right or wrong way to do it. It can be done anytime and anywhere, but preferably in the mornings or before going to bed.
THE SEVEN MAIN CHAKRAS
Chakra Overview – Location, Color, and Functions

Throat Chakra – blue, located at the throat. Responsible for communication, expression, and creativity.
Third Eye Chakra – indigo, located between the eyebrows just above the bridge of the nose. Responsible intuition, psychic abilities, clairvoyance.
Crown Chakra – violet, located at top of your head. Responsible for higher awareness and purpose.
The Super-Easy Way to Cleanse:
You do not have to be a visual person to “see” colors. All you really need is your intention.
After taking a couple of deep breaths, you could say, “It is my purest intention to clear the root chakra from all negativity, and so it is.” You do this with all chakras, starting from the bottom upwards. When you are done, say or envision that you are giving yourself white or golden light through your body. This cleansing takes just a few minutes.
Conclusion: Chakras are a powerful connection between your body and source. Keeping them healthy and clear will bring you balance, good health, and stronger intuitive connections. Once you do this every day, no matter which technique you use, you will be able to hear your inner guidance very clearly which can lead you towards a better life!
